Adipex-P.
Adipex (phentermine) can be used by people diagnosed with obesity that find it impossible to lose weight using other remedies. The treatment with Adipex is expected to last for some 3-6 weeks depending on every particular situation. Your doctor will be able to prescribe the right treatment schedule after examining you and making sure there are no contraindications (such as a history of an allergic reaction to phentermine). Make sure you mention the fact of having arteriosclerosis, high blood pressure, history of drug abuse, overactive thyroid gland, glaucoma, diabetes, or heart disease. Also inform your health care provider of any MAO inhibitors, sertraline, fluoxetine, vitamins, guanethidine, fluvoxamine, medications for weight loss and depression, insulin, or paroxetine if you are taking then at the moment or intend to take them in the nearest future. Mild side effects include unpleasant taste, vomiting, dry mouth, diarrhea, and constipation and do not need to be reported to your doctor, while more serious side effects can be any of the following: shortness of breath, tremor, insomnia, chest pain, restlessness, heart palpitations, increased blood pressure, swelling of the legs and ankles, or dizziness.
